hey every one!!!!</div>
thanks for the letters and i hope your having fun
up there at mammoth pools or where ever you all are. This week has been
good we had another meeting with president Montalti. He is really trying
to bump up all the numbers in the mission right now. Everything is
going well with my little companion elder Mayorga. He always talks about
Rilee and always looks at her picture on my wall.....haha but i tell
him that he is too short. He is going home in 2 weeks. So he will
probably look her up on FACEBOOK. He actually speaks pretty good
English. its just that he is only 4 feet tall.<br />
we will be having two baptisms this Saturday. a man named Lider Tumbaco and Ricaurdo Garcia are getting baptized. I'm excited!! <br />
You
guys make me miss mammoth pools so much! I want to go so bad!! hey
whats with the new hair style that Cole has? and Braiden has a mullet?
hahaha that's cool. I will send you guys some pictures of this week. I
got to eat McDonalds by the way! i ate a big mac! it was the greatest
thing ive tasted in a while.!! I'm living with 3 missionaries right now
and they are all very cool ill send you a picture of all of us. Elder Tait the white one is going home in a couple weeks also. <br />
<br />
This week i read and studied the conference talk that elder Richard G
Scott gave in the last conference and i was very blown away at the
things he said. I loved his talk titled " How to receive personal
inspiration and revelation" something like that.....But he says some
very
interesting things and how we can all receive revelation and what we
need to do to receive it. I also read a part of Joseph Smiths book the
teachings of Joseph Smith ....there is a part that says that we all need
to receive revelation in our lives or it will be impossible to enter
into
the kingdom of god. i want you all to read the talk and strive to live
in a way so that you can all receive revelation for your families and
lives. <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
well i love you all and i hope you all have a blast this time you have together as a family!!<br />
<br />
love<br />

Today is the 4th of July and not one person knows about it here!!!! its weird!!!<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
and
the same was my birthday yesterday!!! no one knew and I didn't even
remember... just a couple of missionaries wished me happy b day and we
ate cookies ha ha thanks for the chocolate chip cookie mix!!! but we
could only make four at a time cuz we don't have an oven.......we just
have a toaster oven haha !</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
But today was awesome i got to go to the temple for
the first time since my first day of the mission. president always says that our work here is for the living and not for the dead. haha when were
off the mission we can go to the temple.but after the mission I will have the opportunity to go to the new temple in Gilbert every week!!! </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
And today i took my first real nap of the mission. ! 1 hour long!!!!! it was great ! I'm counting it as my birthday present! </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I
now have a companion and i am living with 4 missionaries and one is from
Dominican Republic and is 6"4 he is a beast!!! and my companion is
barely 4 feet tall hahahahahahah its hilarious! </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
i hope everyone is having a good 4t of July and celebrating the freedom that you have.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
we
live in a good country!! sometimes we don't realize the blessings we are receiving and have on a day to day basis!!! I hope you are all happy and receiving blessings from our heavenly father. If you live right you
will be blessed. that's one of the simplest things in the scriptures and
still at times we forget . </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I challenge you all to kneel down tonight and talk
to your Heavenly Father, tell his what you are thankful for, tell him
what you need to do better and ask for forgiveness, and after live in a
way to receive blessings that you need.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
i promise you that if you ask you will receive, if you are living right.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
i love you all and miss you</div>

<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
This week was tough. I don't have a
companion right now.....I live with two other missionaries but I am in
my own ward and have my own area. I have been working with a member of
the church who is preparing to serve a mission ...he is 18 his name is Andy. But he doesn't really help me teach. He just is my companion during
the day. </div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
But this week I did get my birthday package!!! Thank you to
everyone who was a part of that!!!!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
This week our fridge door broke off hahaa and we had to rig it to work.....well kinda work....hhaha </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
The
mission is full of adventures ! Some of them I have to just wait to
tell you all when I get back,,,,,,,,,,,Like one that happened this Sunday.......its a secret shhhhhhh.........hahaha all I can say is that
there are some crazy people here in Guayaquil but luckily I am a
missionary and a representative of Christ and I know that I am always
protected.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I hope you all know that I miss and love all of you and that I am out of time to write..........</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Sorry that this letter is short<br />
<br />
Love Jase </div>

<div>
This week has been a very interesting and challenging week.</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
Last Monday I arrived to my new area and me and my companion were
living with two other missionaries one of them is Elder Hicken from Utah
who also arrived the same Monday as me in the new area. Well about
three days later President Montalti took my companion and Elder Hickens
companion out of the area and now we are here just us two , working in
two different areas together at the same time.</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
We don't know any of the members and the missionaries before us didn't have any investigators at all so we are just walking around with
our maps looking for people to teach and we are having some success.
But its a little hard. </div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
This Sunday we went to 2 different wards my ward and my companions
ward. I have a new Bishop who got called the Sunday before, and he is
only 28 years old.. But he is very cool. Anyways in my companions ward
we both gave talks on the importance of missionary work which went well.</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
So I am temporarily with Elder Hicken from Utah he's cool. He was in Cuenca when I was there. Right now we are working very hard to try and
have success in both areas. Its a lot of work but I have 3 baptism dates
and he has 1 right now so we are doing pretty well. But its hard to
find good people who have decent values here and who are married to there
husband. Most people here just live with there husband with out ever
getting married.Its a challenge.</div>
<div>
I think this place is the only place Ive been to that's hotter or at
least feels hotter than Arizona. but that's cuz its super super humid
all the time. I sweat a lot if you could imagine.</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
Oh today we were studying in the house (3rd floor) and there was an
earth quake for about 10 seconds. But it was little. And after there
were little after shocks for like an hour every 5 minutes or so. I think
there might have been a bigger earthquake in another part of south America and we were just feeling that ....idk...</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
Life good the mission is great!!!</div>
<div>
Learning and working hard!! </div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
There is no greater joy than the joy you get from doing the work of the Lord.</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
Inviting others to come unto Christ!! I invite you guys to invite
others! Oh and mom for that scripture that you wanted or that grandma
wanted ....ALMA 29:9 I like that one a lot</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
I love you all</div>
<div>
Love Elder Warner </div>

This week I went to Guayaquil, its a 4 hour bus ride and half of the buss ride is freezing cold and the other half you are sweating a lot!!! But the bus is nice and I got to sleep a little!<br />
<br />
But when we got to Guayaquil we waited a couple hours for our companions to arrive and finally they did . All of them were Latins, and I got my first SON elder Zavaleta from Peru. He is 22 years old and very cool. Ready to work. Doesn't complain and doesn't sleep in! So far so good. We had a meeting with president Montalti and a an interview, I love talking to the pres.. We didn't have time to go to the temple but that night I had to sleep on the floor of a another missionaries house with my shirt as a pillow .
We woke me up and went back to Cuenca!<br />
<br />
We got back on Wednesday and in 3 days we placed 6 new baptism dates and right now we have 11 investigators with baptism dates for the month of may!!! The most I've ever had in the mission. We need all of your help for this Saturday. We have a family that will be baptized but the mom is having a little bit of some doubts. Please pray for her....Her name is Blanca Clavijo. and she has 3 kids....Andrea, Erika, and Jesenia....I really hope and pray that they will be baptized this Saturday. Also this Saturday we have another baptism with Daniel Vinasco he finally turns 18 so we can now baptize him! I'm really excited for the success we are having. I was really worried to train but everything is going very well. I have been praying a lot lately!!<br />
<br />
Last night we got to eat dinner!!!!!! with a member for the first time in my mission I didn't eat egg or top ramen for dinner...but we had Ceviche from Peru. Its fish soup, raw fish soup, with onion and lemon..... it is the best !!! I love Ceviche!!! But this week has been very happy and wonderful!<br />
<br />
The Lord is helping me and I hope that all of you can put your confidence and trust in the Lord in all your problems. The power of prayer is real! <br />

We have 6 baptism dates for the month of
may. And we will have one baptism next week her name is Andrea
Viavicencio. She is very excited to be baptized and she has gone to
church a number of times. I am excited for the baptisms that are coming!<br />
<br />
I thought this week I was going to get changed to Guayaquil, because I
have been here in cuenca for a while now. But that's not the case.
Instead my companion Elder Chicaiza left to the area next door to mine,
and I will be training a brand new missionary. I don't know yet who it
is
or where he is from gringo or Latino? But I will go pick him up from
the airport tomorrow in Guayaquil. We will get to go to the temple
together and have a meeting with the president of the mission. So I am
excited for this new opportunity, and I pray that I will be able to
teach
this new missionary how to be successful.<br />
<br />
This week we had our stake conference, but it was via satellite from
salt
lake city! It was awesome it was only for Ecuador, and wow it was so
good. Elder Christoferson and Richard G Scott spoke also the 70 of our
area Elder Nash spoke. They all speak Spanish too, which I didn't know.
Elder Scott was a mission president in Argentina in the 60´s and Elder
Christoferson was one of the missionaries in Argentina when Elder Scott
was president. I thought that was interesting and cool. They talked
about the importance of treating your wife good, and that they are our
eternal partners. That's exactly what the people here needed also. They
tend to have problems with that here, the wives here aren't treated the
way they should be. They are more like servants than spouses. But a lot
of men in the stake were taught and are now excited to change.<br />
we had 4 investigators in church this Sunday, and I went to church in
New Jersey this week. Her name is Cathy, but she is visiting family over
there and she will be baptized the 19th of may! She is awesome!<br />
<br />
This
week I had a very touching experience! I was sitting in conference
looking around and noticed that 3 families, that I baptized while I was
in a different area before, were sitting in conference in there church
clothes!!! Wow I have never been so happy. The joy that I felt was
unbelievable. One family in particular was a family in where the dad and
mom were going to get divorced because the dad was beating and cheating
of his wife. they have 2 boys that also got baptize and they are now a
happy family and are the first ones in church every week. There is also
another family of a mom and daughter who were there, and they sat right
in front of me, the wife before her baptism was also with a man who was
cheating on her and she was very unhappy. Now she is a very happy
person, and he daughter goes to seminary every morning at 530. I was
very happy to see my converts active in the church preparing to enter
into the temple and be sealed to their families for time and all
eternity.<br />
<br />
I am grateful to be a part of the lords work. I love it! and I know that this work is of God.<br />
<br />

We had 8 baptism dates for this month lined up and not one of them looks like its going to happen this month. <div><br /></div> <div>They will happen but in a little time. Daniel Vinasco who was supposed to have his baptism this week fell through, not because of him but because of his family. Daniel turns 18 years old in one month but he is living with his aunt and uncle who are pastors of the salvation army church.....The night before his baptism they came storming into the church upset. I guess Daniel never told them about his decision of getting baptized...But we tallied to Daniels mom on the phone that lives in Colombia and she said it was fine...Well We had a 2 hour talk with his aunt and uncle about everything and we had no choice but to delay the baptism. But Daniel has been working with a member and he will be going to church still, and be baptized in one month when he turns 18 years old.</div> <div><br /></div> <div>it is raining so hard right now!!! wow! all the streets are flooded!</div> <div><br /></div> <div>Anyways a lot of hardships this week but we are pressing forward in the work of the lord. I have learned to keep my head up high and trust in the lord with all my heart and i know it will all work out. The rest of our baptisms will happen in the first weeks of may because the last week of march we have a stake conference so we cant baptized that week. Well we can baptized but not confirmed.....And baptism doesn't mean anything with out the holy ghost. </div> <div><br /></div> <div>so this week we explored a lot! Our area is huge!!! i mean huge! you could ride on a bus for hours and not find the end...but this week we decided to contact this new area and we had to rock climb a little to get there haha but it went really well besides all the dogs that almost ate us... But we found a lot of good people to teach! </div> <div><br /></div> <div>i am thankful to be here in Ecuador serving the lord,. Ive never received a greater happiness for working. Ive learned in the mission that money cant buy you happiness... its the lord that gives it to you when you keep the commandments and put the kingdom of god first in your life.</div> <div>i love you all and i pray for you daily </div> <div>strive everyday to put the lord first in your lives.</div> <div><br /></div> <div>elder</div> <div> Jase Allen Warner<div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi6HUIF7FOGmqhiPSG_og6iHFvsyupOw5y0s9jpVXKnDaxaXQsSClQYQDpIHT1dMz2zRLPCK-Phq_rA-uxyGzneVB7eiS8WCIgb_xa3u590UQp4VCvs8A3pf-yl98V7CmElajj6UbN_9XIO/s1600/SAM_0670.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi6HUIF7FOGmqhiPSG_og6iHFvsyupOw5y0s9jpVXKnDaxaXQsSClQYQDpIHT1dMz2zRLPCK-Phq_rA-uxyGzneVB7eiS8WCIgb_xa3u590UQp4VCvs8A3pf-yl98V7CmElajj6UbN_9XIO/s320/SAM_0670.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5733184217342610962" border="0" /></a><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3gNfCtm9ocH6urBmKmb8qh-KKUT5APUP9RexIJseNq-A_vh_N5tkGpT3P10DKz9lzYiF9FSJd-lLy8akDozzoudOrYWZ7te9eZd3JwED9cf39ypMRmKYsIcOZdrEyl0yT-UZyQlZOEqnw/s1600/SAM_0680.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3gNfCtm9ocH6urBmKmb8qh-KKUT5APUP9RexIJseNq-A_vh_N5tkGpT3P10DKz9lzYiF9FSJd-lLy8akDozzoudOrYWZ7te9eZd3JwED9cf39ypMRmKYsIcOZdrEyl0yT-UZyQlZOEqnw/s320/SAM_0680.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5733184220357078290" border="0" /></a></div></div></div>Sean Whttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01361661130505111173noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1287358833320810075.post-59440646761890557542012-04-02T16:41:00.002-07:002012-04-03T16:45:40.959-07:00ConferenciaThis week was one of the best weeks in my mission.<div><br /></div><div>First of all we have been working soooo hard! And praying a lot!! But it all payed off. This week we found a ton of new people to teach. We put 7 new baptism dates this week with different families and we had 8 people go to conference with us this Sunday.</div> <div><br /></div><div>Saturday we were able to go to the morning session of conf. the other two that day we couldn't go. We were to busy running around our whole area teaching all the people we could to try to get as many people possible to commit to come Sunday morning. The power of the spirit when the Prophets speak is unreal. When people listen to the prophet for the first time their lives change. </div> <div><br /></div><div>Sunday morning was the craziest day of the mission for me. We were literally running places to get people to church. Here in Ecuador you have to wake people up and come back to wake them up again and then wait for them to get ready....then take them to church in a taxi or bus... They just don't go on their own ha ha...</div> <div><br /></div><div>But I would like to ask you guy, whoever gets the opportunity to read this letter to pray for some of my investigators by name.</div><div><br /></div><div>1-Daniel Vinasco 17 years old challenge for him........his lip ring</div> <div>2-Karina Areas 29 years old </div><div>3- Andrea 10 years old</div><div>4- Jesenia- 12 years old</div><div>5- Ericka- 21 years old</div><div>6- Norma- 30 years old challenge - she needs to get married</div> <div> 7- Andrea 20 years old.....needs to get married to Gabriel</div><div>8- Gabriel- 19 years old.....needs to get married to Andrea</div><div>9-Fabiola- 39 years old.....Andreas mom.</div><div><br /></div><div>If you could pray for these people by name, you will be helping a lot of people change their lives. A lot of these people have a lot of struggles that they are going through and they are all trying to change and receive a baptism for the 14 of April and the 21 of April.</div> <div><br /></div><div>I know that our Heavenly Father lives . He answers our prayers. He listens and love each and everyone his children. I have seen miracles through the power of prayer. I know that everyone in this life goes through hard times. It doesn't matter what your going through or if you feel like no one is there for you. Heavenly father and Jesus Christ are there. They are ready to help us through our trials. I know that we are given trials to strengthen us. I have learned that on the mission. everything we go through in this life is for our benefit. If life were easy we wouldn't have a reason to be here on the earth.</div> <div><br /></div><div>Oh I have a funny story......this Sunday we were walking in the night and my companion was dying of thirst....we couldn't buy anything and we were in the middle of no where......He said...." wow I am thirsty I just want a sip of something." in Spanish.... and two seconds later we turned the corner and there was a full 2 liter soda in the middle of the street. Ha ha funny and cool at the same time. That Sunday happened to be the day that we worked so hard. Got all of our investigators to conference in the front of the stake center in the comfy seats. Which is funny because we went to the bathroom to go pee before conference started and when we went back some old couple stole our seats and were sitting by our investigators....they moved our stuff and everything so we had to sit on the stage in the back of the overflow....and there was only one projector in the front of the chapel....</div> <div><br /></div><div>SACRIFICE brings blessings and makes you even more happy. I think of the little service I'm dong for only 2 years and compared to Jesus Christ and his sacrifice is is nothing. he suffered for all of us all of mankind. And I am sure that he is super happy right now on the right hand of heavenly father. Don't be scared to make some sacrifices at times. For others who need the gospel especially...your little time or love that you can give for another person can change a life for eternity.</div> <div><br /></div><div>I love you all and pray for you</div><div><br /></div><div>Elder Jase Warner</div>Sean Whttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01361661130505111173noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1287358833320810075.post-18541757750541879102012-03-26T16:38:00.001-07:002012-04-03T16:40:12.070-07:00Ants are Spicy<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdiIL4q6pLLmbH-mtIt7zoWrWMzL4j_UsTVSr5jz4Di_RsbMqueF0kimA0BUFs6cmkALM3XZRK153UpSdYTNRiTJCPaXtJfAIFStDIgExmR1noBifC-8FQ3JeWw3tBZ4JQgYxr2K8VDI02/s1600/DSC00625.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdiIL4q6pLLmbH-mtIt7zoWrWMzL4j_UsTVSr5jz4Di_RsbMqueF0kimA0BUFs6cmkALM3XZRK153UpSdYTNRiTJCPaXtJfAIFStDIgExmR1noBifC-8FQ3JeWw3tBZ4JQgYxr2K8VDI02/s320/DSC00625.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5727323430093318866" border="0" /></a><br />So this week has been very good. I'm with my new comp Elder Chicaiza<br />from Quito Ecuador.<br /><br />This week we placed two baptism dates with a kid<br />from Colombia named Daniel who has 17 years and another girl named<br />Marcela who has 17 years.<br /><br />They are both very good but Sunday Daniel had to go out of town and<br />couldn't go to church and Marcela had to work Sunday. So I was heart<br />broken that we didn't have anyone in church....praying sooooo hard! And<br />later I noticed a lady in our ward brought a friend to sacrament<br />meeting!!!!!!!!!!!! Named Norma.<br /><br />So today we are going to have family<br />night with her and the family in our ward that brought her to church.<br />She will hopefully get baptized this 7 of April.<br /><br />This week it rained so hard!!!!!!! And it hailed all day yesterday. We<br />were getting hit in the head for about an hour with ice.....but<br />finally we got in a house and taught a lesson. So much for the "day of<br />rest" ha ha. I have noticed that that day doesn't exist in this mission.<br />There is no rest in the work of the lord.<br /><br />Today my comp had to buy new shoes, we went to this lady that makes<br />shoes down our street and she started crying when she saw us. She told<br />us that she has been wanting to talk to us for like a week but has<br />been scared to. We talked to her for the first time today and she is<br />having a lot of trouble in her life. She told us that she has been an<br />inactive member of thee Church for like 20 years. Has a lot of kids who<br />aren't members and wants us to teach them.<br /><br />Yesterday we drank hot chocolate because we had frost bite.......and<br />we had ants in the chocolate powder...they are the most spicy food I<br />have ever tasted in my life....ha ha weird huh?...<br /><br />I love the mission and I love the gospel. I am blessed in many ways<br />everyday. When you are doing whats right you are happy...I have<br />learned that on the mission. When we do what the lord asks of us we<br />get rewarded. like it says in 3 Nephi 13:33 "But seek ye first the<br />kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be<br />added unto you."<br /><br />I am loving the mission and working really hard and I am happy. I love<br />you all and I hope you have an awesome week.<br /><br />Love the lord with all your heart and keep his commandments and you will be blessed.<br /><br />Elder Jase WarnerSean Whttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01361661130505111173noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1287358833320810075.post-50167017923886726552012-03-19T16:26:00.003-07:002012-04-03T16:31:58.791-07:00New Companion!<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh1ucIip0wdYqKvCdQZ2uKnJ5UqajFhB_7DWV_qPLnzSmg8-XrTlQi6gJAn6okdv6k99d8Qu_UK8bXz28hyphenhyphenac7mBr3HtsO2f3U1dEJfNHqPzfWnXUfQq7FLtAJo-VkBANS8zGySFwIQLB-A/s1600/SAM_0098.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh1ucIip0wdYqKvCdQZ2uKnJ5UqajFhB_7DWV_qPLnzSmg8-XrTlQi6gJAn6okdv6k99d8Qu_UK8bXz28hyphenhyphenac7mBr3HtsO2f3U1dEJfNHqPzfWnXUfQq7FLtAJo-VkBANS8zGySFwIQLB-A/s320/SAM_0098.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5727321307346660946" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgAkKQgsElAx44SNi8T97pWEvdPr2WT3Htsiz79IeQlFSGOp5LPvE-8v1DcwbRQS22bJMhvlLf-_mbrvZzzpRcrcXjMTpqU7K1fN11GL5u2HyUcO2Kyk1crsiBAban1ZJhxdF7VB4KOoiYo/s1600/DSC00637.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgAkKQgsElAx44SNi8T97pWEvdPr2WT3Htsiz79IeQlFSGOp5LPvE-8v1DcwbRQS22bJMhvlLf-_mbrvZzzpRcrcXjMTpqU7K1fN11GL5u2HyUcO2Kyk1crsiBAban1ZJhxdF7VB4KOoiYo/s320/DSC00637.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5727320940963907634" border="0" /></a><br />I finally today got a new comp!!!! Por fin!<br /><br />His name is Elder Chicaiza, he is from Quito Ecuador. He has about 18 months in the mission now and he is very cool. He got here in cuenca about an hour ago. I am looking forward to having a<br />companion and having some more success!<br /><br />One thing I have learned here on the mission is that success and bringing people into the true Church brings me happiness! More than I ever imagined it would bring<br />me.<br /><br />The work of the lord is the most important work that we can do here in the earth. This last week I worked mostly in another sector. That sector hasn't had a baptism date or anyone in church for 9 weeks now.<br /><br />But this last week I helped the other elders and we put 2 baptism dates for the 7th of April and had two people in church. It was a relief to have some success in that sector. But on the flip side we didn't have any one in my sector go to church. But this week we are going to put a lot of effort into finding new people to teach and get<br />them to church.<br /><br />I am so excited for general conference this month! What a blessing it will be to listen to our prophet and apostles. I hope you will all take the time to pay attention to the words of the lords servants. It will bless your lives.!<br /><br />I miss you all and look forward to hearing from you next Monday, I am<br />sorry that this letter is so short ha ha.<br /><br />Love<br /><br />Elder Jase WarnerSean Whttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01361661130505111173noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1287358833320810075.post-89528873428825749062012-03-12T16:11:00.003-07:002012-04-03T16:19:15.041-07:00Bautismo!<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7BBmJmkP4J0MyfCdF_ykf0hTgbYTojzwQzoI04lvsb_Y-H2iRg0IMwBNv_g1ZPNDFLYlL3pDwp_O9mK1_VBUX6IaXyF7hynioHNB8WDOtCk3RA1xEMzguKd5P8bwNz5EJvmvX2dktYlmb/s1600/SAM_0115.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7BBmJmkP4J0MyfCdF_ykf0hTgbYTojzwQzoI04lvsb_Y-H2iRg0IMwBNv_g1ZPNDFLYlL3pDwp_O9mK1_VBUX6IaXyF7hynioHNB8WDOtCk3RA1xEMzguKd5P8bwNz5EJvmvX2dktYlmb/s320/SAM_0115.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5727317467010244194" border="0" /></a><br />Hey everyone!!<br /><br />This week has flown by here in Cuenca!<br /><br />This week I have been without a companion again....I won't have one till next Monday, I am kinda getting tired of being in a different sector half the day and then in mine for like 1 hour a day at the most. Going to church a lone just with my ward mission leader.<br /><br />It is okay though, because I had the best baptism of my mission this week! It was weird filling out the baptism paper work and only putting my name in the top right corner and not another missionaries too.... But Ana Belen Merchan was baptized this Saturday by her dad who has been waiting a long time for that moment. It was a very spiritual experience for the whole ward and me. She has never wanted to join the church before listening to many different missionaries over the years. Well when she finally accepted the baptism date she cried and cried cause she was so happy and told us she didn't know what was different but she just knew she needed to do it and new it was true all of a sudden. But we usually have like 10 people in baptisms but this one had 80 people! I counted like 3 times in amazement! A lot of the people there were other non member family members, I know they all felt the spirit.<br /><br />Ana Belen bore her testimony after and told everyone that she will serve a mission in 1 year from her baptism day!!!!!! I was so shocked because 4 days before she didn't believe in the church at all. I was so happy also! she is 21 years old so in one year she can go through the temple and serve a mission. There were a lot of returned missionaries that were a little disappointed that she is going on a mission because they all want to marry her.<br />All in all it was a very good day for a lot of people her in Cuenca.<br /><br />I know that she received her answer through the power of the Book of Mormon and through the power of the holy ghost. I am excited to go to the temple in 1 year and watch her get sealed to her family and leave on the mission. Hopefully in the time in between more of her family members will come unto christ through the waters of baptism.<br /><br />This week we started a new program in my ward. Every week I get up in sacrament and assign a book of Mormon to a family, they have to give it to a non member with their testimony in it and invite them to church. This week on Thursday a lady came running into the chapel because her dog ran away and went into the church. The bishop found her and he gave his book of Mormon to her. We happened to walk in right then and meet her and taught her about baptism and invited her to church. It was a miracle in my eyes that her dog decided to run into the church! She really liked the church and our lesson. We tried placing a baptism date and she said she wants to learn more, but the next lesson she will commit to being baptized.<br /><br />I have been living with two other missionaries for a while now on the floor...... but its a comfy floor. And we get a long pretty well.<br /><br />All the missionaries this last week had a conference with the mission president, he came to talk to us. It was cool we learned a lot, The meeting was 6 hours with a lunch break. It was very long but very spiritually uplifting. He didn't know that I was without a companion at the time and asked me where my companion was and I said " I don't know president, I was hoping that you could get me one soon" and everyone laughed. He said next week I will have one. It is hard for him to keep track of 250 missionaries I guess.<br /><br />Well I love you all and I hope that your week goes very well. Find someone to share the gospel with, you never know whose life you will change by just being a good example and inviting someone to learn more, or to church.<br /><br />I love you<br /><br />Elder Jase Warner<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEicjpQ64vlUwaDz-hjJCTo2CqtYD2_4gGgpiVEcY8sbUEs-3n9137IgaKIMkCDNnTrEeu5yr6_A0emRv5U0hWF_eL3k1-yffTsMMZuktdQ95BFKRF23IgUi8D3OeCyvgkaxY7HRm4rdox3F/s1600/SAM_0111.JPG"><img style="display:block; I have been living with other elders out of my area for this past week and still dont have a new companion. this week i had to wear the same clothes for 4 days staight because i couldnt go back to my house for a while....it rained so much those days that every night i had to pour water out of my shoes. i went and worked in my area like two night with my bishop as my companion and i put 2 new baptism dates. I will also be having a baptism this saturday, and it looks like it will be by myself.....No one to share the joy with. I have learned the importance of companions this week thats for sure.<br />But this girl is getting baptised named anabelen merchan is very awesome. she is 21 years old and she heard the missionaries for the first time 2 years ago and is finally getting baptised. But before we came to teach her she pretty much refused to listen to the missionaries. we have worked with her the past 2 weeks and she now has a testimony of the restored gospel. She didnt have one until two days ago. She told us she would get baptised on the 10th of march if she got an answer she prayed everynight for the answer and read in the book of mormon she got that answer on saturday. And she is so excited to be baptised this week! Her dad and mom are very excited too. They are so thankfull for the missionaries are experiencing their children one by one come unto the gospel. They have waited a long time for this day. Lots of praying and patcience.<br />I am practicing my patcience aso right now with waiting for my companion to come.....it is hard without a companion!! But suprisingly i had some of the best numbers in our zone this week and the zone leaders were very suprised....I only was in my area for two nights for a couple hours each night ( working with my bishop) and a little bit with our ward mission leader that doesnt do anything..... But i worked very hard prayed super hard and got blessings. Hopefuly my companion comes soon.<br /><br />I hope you guys like my pictures! there was a lot of rain this last week everyday pretty much!! i finally used the boots i have for the first time.<br /><br />i pray that you are all choosing the right and praying to our heavenly father daily. One thing i have learned out here is the power of prayer! it really does work, heavenly father does answer us. What ever you are going through he knows and he is ready to help you.<br /><br />i love you all<br /><br />elder warner<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhlI0zjC2KeCAEBBg0zRI1TpIfdncT2YhNBd3_0U8NbriRyaXaSavvIWJqFMv86t5mRw2dqEaxkjuh8FwfzGUJ4aDQyqSistqNqXaPCxif_Lr5x1TcgzLcvntKNI0V_tmEzG_rdf3pUIi8L/s1600/SAM_0064.JPG"><img style="display:block; I am so excited! One reason is because the sector that I am in is very very challenging. It is full of Catholics and rich people (Aniñados) and there are also a lot of Jehovah´s Whiteness´s . They have knocked on our door a couple times already, and when we answer it they get scared and just give us a flyer or a pamphlet. There church is right next door from our church.<br /> <br />The baptism was also one of the best I have had, there were so many people there at Jorge Louise Pillajo´s baptism. Our ward members are very supportive. And we actually had a piano in the baptism to sing! We had to carry it down from the upstairs chapel though.<br /><br />But this week has actually been pretty challenging. My companion went home yesterday. He completed 2 years and 1 month in the mission. He was a great companion. I am now with the zone leaders until my new companion arrives or until I get sent somewhere else. I don't know what will happen or when it will happen, but I know what ever happens its for the best.<br /><br />That's one thing I have learned in the mission is that this is the lords work and his hand is in everything we do as missionaries. This is not my work, I am just a instrument in the Lords work. We are working with a couple families right now. One family is a family of 5 girls....they couldn't go to church this week because of the flu, but next week they will be in church. We also have a baptism date with a lady named Anabelen Merchan. Please pray for her, she needs to gain a strong testimony of the church. But we also put another baptism date this week with a guy named Paul Merchan and he is not related to Anabelen Merchan. Just a coincidence that they have the same last name. Please pray for those people.<br /><br />This week the festivals and holiday are finally over so now we can actually get into some houses. This last week was difficult but we pulled through. I am excited to see who comes to be my next companion. Hopefully someone who is ready to work really hard. I have been blessed with all great wonderful companions so far. so I am not worried.<br /><br />I love and pray for all of you! i thank you for being such good people!<br /><br />remember that we have a father in heaven who loves us and answers our prayers. Remember that we are responsible to share this simple message with everyone in the world. We are all children of god, and the savior suffered for all of our sins. ALL. there is nothing you cant repent of, you can come unto Christ though the atoning sacrifice of our lord and savior Jesus Christ. I love you all and pray for you daily<br /><br />love<br />Elder Jase WarnerSean Whttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01361661130505111173noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1287358833320810075.post-85069232325725995852012-02-20T20:48:00.000-07:002012-04-03T16:02:30.205-07:00Carnival<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjp0oGd2cH0DVlwt6hLzJ2tQe9rvN-PWJ8t0i33tdjMWRtzavXkUYISlJjpjoAI7vJma_6Lbc_B6Hsq8XehcqfdzC8Eu0SPWtv7geYg34Gsiw3VQ2XwJ20CMeFe11FdA9Y64RIUKlmnOH0i/s1600/56.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjp0oGd2cH0DVlwt6hLzJ2tQe9rvN-PWJ8t0i33tdjMWRtzavXkUYISlJjpjoAI7vJma_6Lbc_B6Hsq8XehcqfdzC8Eu0SPWtv7geYg34Gsiw3VQ2XwJ20CMeFe11FdA9Y64RIUKlmnOH0i/s320/56.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5711431116726583890" border="0" /></a><br /><br />Well this week in Cuanca Ecuador was very interesting.<br /><br />They have a Holiday here called Carnival and I don't like it as a missionary....This Holiday is on the hottest days of the year here, and it consists of throwing water balloons out of your car and having water fights, going to the beach and swimming. Its a holiday just to cool off. It would be fine if i was in the hot parts of Ecuador, but I'm in the coldest area. So all this week I have been dodging water balloons (bombas) that are sometimes fills with water, paint,bleach, ice....I luckily only got hit twice with water....one time right between my legs......that area....<br /><br />The other day my comp got hit in the face with one ha ha it was thrown out of a white Toyota Carola....later in the week we were knocking doors and found the same Toyota and knocked the door and it was a teenager kid, and when he saw us he was a little shocked. We tried to teach him but he told us he was busy filling up water balloons with his girl friend. All I can say is that he´s lucky that we are missionaries and didn't get him back. But it was funny that we found him.<br /><br />On the spiritual note we will be baptizing a boy named Jorge Perez this Saturday, so if you could please keep him in your prayers. We also put a baptism date for march 3rd with a girls that is 21 named Anabelen. Her parents are members and she has listened to missionaries before but never actually wanted to accept it. We used and testified the Book of Mormon a lot in her lesson and she really felt it, the Book of Mormon can change peoples hearts. I see it every day with people here I also see it with myself. I am loving El Libro de Mormon!<br /><br />There are a lot of people here that talk bad about the church false beliefs and false practices. A lot of people here believe it all. But when a person reads and prays for themselves they really do change, they begin to realize that Christ is their Savior and that we can't be happy people and live with our father in heaven after this life with our families forever. They begin to have a purpose in their life. They give up bad habits and start good ones, I know that this book has power to heal the hearts of men. I have seen it first hand in families that were completely broken, that have now been sealed in the temple and are living in a way that brings them true happiness.<br /><br />I think in my head everyday when I go out to work, who's life can I change today? The awesome thing is, is that its not even me that is doing the changing. Not even my companion, but the Holy Ghost that testifies of the truth. We can all change peoples lives, and we can all change our own. As we study and learn the scriptures, pray, go to church and be examples for others. we need to be light houses for the lost people in this world. They want the gospel they just don't know it yet.<br /><br />I love you all and I pray for you everyday.<br /><br />Keep on keeping on <img style="margin:0pt 0.2ex;vertical-align:middle" src="http://e/gtalk/35C" /><img style="margin:0pt 0.2ex;vertical-align:middle" src="http://e/gtalk/35C" /><img style="margin:0pt 0.2ex;vertical-align:middle" src="http://e/gtalk/35C" /><img style="margin:0pt 0.2ex;vertical-align:middle" src="http://e/gtalk/35C" /><br /><br />Elder Jase Warner<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhY11Dbgm7UkRdXj_sc8L0MiwuaOzeYISnct4OU2Y4V1UPPx2f8l9ZDaqXkNqw52Z73b9OLxC8nROFn3q7VtSYbmf8_IoJ5B3RHRuB46guQV3JswDuyO8jvSFGf19mw6Rq2XnHkdgy2cLco/s1600/62.JPG"><img style="display:block; He is sweet, he will only be here for 2 more weeks because he already has been on his mission for 2 years and 2 weeks now. he extended his mission for a month, just to be with me.<br /><br />We are opening this new sector together and its going good, we knock a lot of doors, but the members here and the bishop are sweet. We have two baptism dates on is for the 25th of February, and one is for the first week in march. we placed the baptism date yesterday with a kid named Jorge he is 14 years old and he went to church yesterday and liked it a lot. Elder <span style="" class="J-JK9eJ-PJVNOc">Denison</span> is happy that we will have a baptism before he leaves.<br /><br />on the fun note, on Friday we had an activity in the church to celebrate valentines day, and me and elder <span style="" class="J-JK9eJ-PJVNOc">Denison</span> played a song for everyone in the ward. He played piano and i played guitar and sang the song by second hand serenade "fall for you" and everyone loved it. Elder <span style="" class="J-JK9eJ-PJVNOc">Denison</span> is super pro at piano. he played in sacrament meeting.<br /><br />Our sector is huge and not very populated in a lot of parts so we have to walk and ride a lot of buses. But we are trying to get to know the members very well to build their trust. I have learned the best way to find people is through the members.<br /><br />I am loving life right now and loving serving the Lord everyday. I am learning <span style="" class="J-JK9eJ-PJVNOc">a lot</span> of valuable things for my future and I am receiving very much joy in bringing people closer to our savior <span style="" class="J-JK9eJ-PJVNOc">Jesu Cristo</span>.<br /><br />For those of you who are interested the ward I am in actually has a face book page and I think there is a picture of me on there. but the page is called "barrio <span style="" class="J-JK9eJ-PJVNOc">monay</span> <span style="" class="J-JK9eJ-PJVNOc">LDS</span>"<br /><br />I ate very good pizza this week twice, so that was very nice ha ha. The members here are very well off and they feed us very well so don't worry mom! Well I miss and love you all!<br /><br />love Elder <span style="" class="J-JK9eJ-PJVNOc">Warner</span>Sean Whttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01361661130505111173noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1287358833320810075.post-78790283007065222442012-02-06T20:00:00.000-07:002012-02-15T20:00:57.581-07:00CambioThis week has been super good! me and my comp have gotten along very well! we have been working hard and have 3 baptisms this week ...Saturday... well I had three baptisms but I got a new area and new companion today.<br /><br />The new area is in the same city of <span style="" class="J-JK9eJ-PJVNOc">Cuenca</span> just its a new area....as in we are the first missionaries to go there in a long time. So We will be doing a lot of knocking on doors and finding finding finding. I still haven't met my new comp, but he is another district leader. So we should have success together and he is American. <div><br /></div> <div>I'm sorry I don't have any pictures today.....my camera is not with me. But we had a baptism Saturday. A women named jenny Reyes, she is a very strong convert. she left her husband to be baptized. Her husband was always cheating on her but giving her money, sadly this is a very common thing here but it can be fixed with the gospel. I baptized jenny and it was a little hard....she is a little on the heavy side. But the water helped a lot. </div> <div><br /></div> <div>The Church is growing rapidly and the gospel is touching the lives of many people everyday. There is not one doubt in my mind that it is true. It is real, and it blesses lives. Temporally and spiritually. I see it everyday! I also know that the work grows faster with the help of members. Every member is a missionary! The members are <span style="" class="J-JK9eJ-PJVNOc">sooo</span> important.</div> <div><br /></div> <div>I gave a talk in my ward last Sunday about the importance of missionary work and the members. There is a whole <span style="" class="J-JK9eJ-PJVNOc">seccion</span> in preach my gospel titled how to work with the members. I challenge you all to read it. It takes no longer than 5 minutes. The time is close to the lords coming. We need to share the gospel with everyone! I challenge you all to look and pray for missionary opportunities daily. It will bless your family and others more than you can imagine.</div> <div><br /></div> <div>I love you all and pray for you daily. I hope you are are enjoying life as I am enjoying mine.</div> <div><br /></div> <div>love Elder Jase <span style="" class="J-JK9eJ-PJVNOc">Warner</span></div>Sean Whttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01361661130505111173noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1287358833320810075.post-87674529384776648522012-01-30T22:30:00.000-07:002012-02-05T22:35:55.765-07:00¡Bautismo!Hey everyone family and friends!<br /><br />This week has flew by like every week! We had a baptism this week! It went very well and through this baptism we unlocked the doors to many more. We had a very spiritual baptism that effected more people than just Gabriella <span style="" class="J-JK9eJ-PJVNOc">Lema</span>.<br /><br />It started out horrible no one showed up , and the alarm to the church was going off for ever! It was us and the girl that was getting baptised we need members to how up in order to have the baptism. After a while I prayed super hard that people would show up and everything would be OK. 30 seconds later a member who holds the priesthood showed up with his wife. He also happened to know the code to the alarm. A minute after that a whole part member family showed up. We had the baptism and long story short we have three new baptism dates because of the spirit at that baptism.<br /><br />The mom of Gabriella will be getting baptized this week along with a man named Jorge Louise.<br /><br />We have 6 baptism dates in total right now for February. I am excited!<br /><br />We are working very hard and I love my comp. But there are changes next Monday so we will see what happens. <br /><br />I hope everything is going well in North America. The land of the free home of the brave ha ha. Its a different world down here but I love it so much!<br /><br />The people here think that there are only 5 continents....I argue with everyone that there are 7......<br /><br />But anyways I love you, all write me! I love getting emails! I included some pictures of the baptism!<br /><br /> Love Elder Jase <span style="" class="J-JK9eJ-PJVNOc">Warner</span><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEidCCj0kuy0LSAxGEKLu7-M-NeJ1DpWuSFq0Ej85ywTyZZTQrSkx2Qc8fNRRzgbbkGBZvSrJATgP5tBpjFkFB3DMwstc4E5sULweOOAo9VFped2KzcauP4KGI-FV7KMN3uYRXS7Al3RxRdK/s1600/SAM_0275.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 243px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEidCCj0kuy0LSAxGEKLu7-M-NeJ1DpWuSFq0Ej85ywTyZZTQrSkx2Qc8fNRRzgbbkGBZvSrJATgP5tBpjFkFB3DMwstc4E5sULweOOAo9VFped2KzcauP4KGI-FV7KMN3uYRXS7Al3RxRdK/s320/SAM_0275.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5705891185739232370" border="0" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFKH2YZ6dsdcLGmlwxPCxxxTazPdjWZOavFIMR-Vru1Qj2wBv8JZTf9Ad52gDz4VbEUtApeyd-8tOtxRcLfAEku6FV3rYkHOcuXo5202aAS7X4gXcPHytMX3HpfS08p5apFMBdQwCsbAj-/s1600/SAM_0279.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFKH2YZ6dsdcLGmlwxPCxxxTazPdjWZOavFIMR-Vru1Qj2wBv8JZTf9Ad52gDz4VbEUtApeyd-8tOtxRcLfAEku6FV3rYkHOcuXo5202aAS7X4gXcPHytMX3HpfS08p5apFMBdQwCsbAj-/s320/SAM_0279.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5705891188878578802" border="0" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSORxrHBCpaLOBQBmF8PUm7wB3n1c6__k9xThGytVK2PMTwIFLpfFbRD0yTiOPOeRuHMnCzGLSKOyAqoXiISbymFDaziekoZ2eHt4YsNLfRCIAJPj85G15VDCZ2xpNVYp8cRo7_OOExXhz/s1600/SAM_0280.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 221px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSORxrHBCpaLOBQBmF8PUm7wB3n1c6__k9xThGytVK2PMTwIFLpfFbRD0yTiOPOeRuHMnCzGLSKOyAqoXiISbymFDaziekoZ2eHt4YsNLfRCIAJPj85G15VDCZ2xpNVYp8cRo7_OOExXhz/s320/SAM_0280.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5705891203866978946" border="0" /></a>Sean Whttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01361661130505111173noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1287358833320810075.post-45553391211743182922012-01-16T22:22:00.001-07:002012-02-05T22:43:13.951-07:00Rain (lluvia)<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjYgkSQUozayzo36-tNCgfGXEladuJFZZmf5d5SWpiKjVpSe7J-REL2yet4fLnIT5NO4RBWfDaVTsNLtYv_OavtJ6o4X2GEsyd02-6R21yBtBOm81TyJiCWwBIqz-NL39JYXRB_z3chi14t/s1600/SAM_0244.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjYgkSQUozayzo36-tNCgfGXEladuJFZZmf5d5SWpiKjVpSe7J-REL2yet4fLnIT5NO4RBWfDaVTsNLtYv_OavtJ6o4X2GEsyd02-6R21yBtBOm81TyJiCWwBIqz-NL39JYXRB_z3chi14t/s320/SAM_0244.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5705893793847011714" border="0" /></a><br />Hey everyone! <div>Hows it going in America??</div> <div><br /></div> <div>Everything here in <span style="" class="J-JK9eJ-PJVNOc">Cuenca</span> Ecuador is going great! I love my new sector and my new companion! Elder Marquez is awesome!<br /><br />We had 6 baptism dates at the end of the week but then only 2 people showed up to church! So we lost 4 dates but we will make new dates with those other investigators and we placed a new one Sunday after church with a guy named Jorge. I love it when we find people that are just prepared to hear the gospel and accept a baptism invitation right away. Things like that just make my day!</div> <div><br /></div> <div>It is very cold here! It has rained everyday since I've been here too! But the people here are very rich and this city is like the united states! Its very nice! my sector is huge!! <span style="" class="J-JK9eJ-PJVNOc">gandisimo</span>! We take buses everywhere. I'm in a stake now instead of a district. My bishop is a very nice guy, he owns and runs an orphanage here for kids that have disabilities. We go there a lot because we have a convert that lives there. His name is Martin he is very smart an d understands everything but he only knows how to say yes and no, and he cant walk. He as a perfect church attendance though!<br /><br />So at this orphanage a lot of the volunteers that work there are from the states and are members. They are all girls..... But something like that would be awesome for R<span style="" class="J-JK9eJ-PJVNOc">ilee</span>! </div> <div> </div> <div>There is a missionary couple here that are from Arizona who got here the same day as me and they don't speak any Spanish at all!! But they are learning, we found them a family that's in our sector, family <span style="" class="J-JK9eJ-PJVNOc">Rodas</span> that is from Canada , they speak English, Spanish and French. We have taught them twice now and their children are so excited to go to church and be a part of the primary! The kids know English better than Spanish. It was cool being in a lesson with the senior couple they brought the spirit so strong! </div> <div><br /></div> <div>My Spanish is getting better everyday it gets better and better and c<div> </div>an pretty much say whatever I want to people and can understand everything. I love it here in Ecuador and I love teaching people the gospel. I want all of you to remember that every member of this church is a missionary. ALWAYS! We had a BBQ and a couple missionaries over. We couldn't leave the house for two days but we still had a great time! New years here is cool! everyone has huge fire works and lights huge fires everywhere! They all have these paper <span style="" class="J-JK9eJ-PJVNOc">mache</span> people they make and then they burn them on new years. Its like ending their old life and starting a new one.</p> <p>I actually like the tradition a lot! I think we should all be striving to be better people all the time, every year. Make goals and follow them, we always tell our investigators that without goals you cant progress. We should always be setting goals to become closer to Christ. </p> <p><br />Make a goal to read your scriptures more often, go to church, share the gospel, have more charity, we all have room to improve in our lives, we can always become more Christlike.</p> <p>This Sunday we had the baptism of Julissa Castillo. She is a nine year old girl, but her and her family are amazing people. Me and my companion elder Badger have really grown to love and care for their family. We have the goal to get them to the temple in a couple months to get sealed as a family. </p> <p>On Friday we spent a little time with their family to celebrate Fernando's 13th birthday, we bought him a little cake, and sang to him. To us it was just a little bit of our time and 5 dollars but to him it was a great birthday. They are a very poor family that don't have the money to go buy presents or cakes or even food sometimes. There are a lot of families in need all around the world, in the united states also. there are always people that could use a little help, support, or even just a friend. President <span style="" class="J-JK9eJ-PJVNOc">Monson</span> said last year what he wanted for his birthday was for all the members of the church to go do something nice for someone else.</p> <p>I think this is what Christ would want also, let us go out and do something nice for someone else.</p> <p>I love you all and i miss you! </p> <p>Love,<br />Elder Jase <span style="" class="J-JK9eJ-PJVNOc">Warner</span></p><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhqt9lcURAJylQ95czhd5qpt5vCrPAdKd0EVWn2SJ0r5iCzzP6Gw8jgOxBCgKwSmd6n89FR0m-YxOqzqpLmRjLVejrRmNVAEgvFEFBkmfXGQKHivAxxSEISR35uDpaK4MW2D5-HPeMPY45i/s1600/SAM_0123.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhqt9lcURAJylQ95czhd5qpt5vCrPAdKd0EVWn2SJ0r5iCzzP6Gw8jgOxBCgKwSmd6n89FR0m-YxOqzqpLmRjLVejrRmNVAEgvFEFBkmfXGQKHivAxxSEISR35uDpaK4MW2D5-HPeMPY45i/s320/SAM_0123.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5697018966552029058" border="0" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5-53V7akMAcYGQ6pUD5wiS_Mr7-Z5hWsGFU9xV7PyHVtDU-6AT63J7-mWtll-jjEAC3vrHiyUAcsxk7w-dYKhNxwFA0ZD2JWc_BXb1Ycd36gTpDPq4mVa5nE2NC-73OLJaDhSOf1bFiiK/s1600/SAM_0164.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5-53V7akMAcYGQ6pUD5wiS_Mr7-Z5hWsGFU9xV7PyHVtDU-6AT63J7-mWtll-jjEAC3vrHiyUAcsxk7w-dYKhNxwFA0ZD2JWc_BXb1Ycd36gTpDPq4mVa5nE2NC-73OLJaDhSOf1bFiiK/s320/SAM_0164.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5697018983524355730" border="0" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjMe1EKcu-rB8aJoHEZv7Nj4rYX9Fwi3TsVW8aTE_FMcU-BpPC_ozLjtWS9C5_vMLq68bg9ZYqEEOjo3jGs8obYXTKYGbJQ0euFpd8HHObp3MXlT4qejo5ke8O8dYSF9Z5E4dvGKFx6dcpH/s1600/SAM_0160.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjMe1EKcu-rB8aJoHEZv7Nj4rYX9Fwi3TsVW8aTE_FMcU-BpPC_ozLjtWS9C5_vMLq68bg9ZYqEEOjo3jGs8obYXTKYGbJQ0euFpd8HHObp3MXlT4qejo5ke8O8dYSF9Z5E4dvGKFx6dcpH/s320/SAM_0160.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5697018967833137202" border="0" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbhUhnIUS26wz0EysmR0fVowU4v3yHvWOJYMVXYLItJ5z__ISQP4rwKNeYJ2zgiu6bsuIwF-JG8gQrmO6RFlQ-Ktl6-K-SjkU3KaWG5ZxyXjckMGXjiwmeVKgJqFtJCm1keqhTGBRgk8rx/s1600/SAM_0117.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbhUhnIUS26wz0EysmR0fVowU4v3yHvWOJYMVXYLItJ5z__ISQP4rwKNeYJ2zgiu6bsuIwF-JG8gQrmO6RFlQ-Ktl6-K-SjkU3KaWG5ZxyXjckMGXjiwmeVKgJqFtJCm1keqhTGBRgk8rx/s320/SAM_0117.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5697019618324541746" border="0" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh33SoJ2UYb7jtfWkYPb7RPVl_Bfc52AZC1B1wbA4RvUK7OcFDa9KXjbxXZ0QfVXHbwLoyG4rI3YHXL-XJ6N-ztjNjVx7sERjSs0ULjr4f2RP-ArMLtw0HnIkucQlTiBA8m2sx1S-rF3Kcs/s1600/SAM_0119.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh33SoJ2UYb7jtfWkYPb7RPVl_Bfc52AZC1B1wbA4RvUK7OcFDa9KXjbxXZ0QfVXHbwLoyG4rI3YHXL-XJ6N-ztjNjVx7sERjSs0ULjr4f2RP-ArMLtw0HnIkucQlTiBA8m2sx1S-rF3Kcs/s320/SAM_0119.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5697019009798395266" border="0" /></a>Sean Whttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01361661130505111173noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1287358833320810075.post-49128643662676540712011-12-29T00:27:00.001-07:002012-01-13T00:55:17.650-07:00Feliz Navidad<p>Hey everyone!!</p> <p>I hope everyone had an awesome fun Christmas! and I hope you all got a chance to attend church and have an opportunity to think of our savior Jesus Christ.<br /></p><p>This Christmas has been the first time I have been without my family and it made me realize how much I miss them how much I miss all of you. But there is really nothing like serving others and the lord on Christmas. On Christmas day we had the opportunity to take some investigators to church, we took a family of 6 the castillo´s and a lady named Jennifer. They all loved it even though the power went out in the middle of sacrament meeting. I loved singing Christmas hymns!<br /><br />We also had the confirmation of our newest convert Josue Albuquerque. He was baptised on Friday. His baptism was really crazy! We got to the baptism with him and his family at 7 ( when it was supposed to start) and there was no water in the font......even though we filled it up all the way that morning. So we had to fill it up fast with buckets . There weren't very many people at the baptism but the spirit was very strong. I shared the spiritual message (with horrible Spanish)... but every thing turned out good. Josue was baptized by his grandpa, he was very excited and happy to become a member of the church.</p> <p>Saturday was very eventful we had a Christmas lunch at our zone leaders mamita´s house and we ate shrimp and duck, it was pretty good actually. Then we went back to our house with the zone leaders and two other elders and had a little bbq, we had steak and potatoes and we all bought hammocks and just laid around and watched the best two years.</p> <p>I had a very fun and spiritual Christmas, and I hope you all did too. </p> <p>I hope you all strive to become more like Christ everyday, think about the new year coming up and how you can improve, and become more Christlike. This is why we are here on the earth.</p> <p>I love you all</p> <p>Elder Jase Warner</p><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi4EmFQFb9b3Y5r7pZjonucd8k9r499GLFapWCMLsKf2pzctn-I98vU5zNFsvFkC0eaZEimb8HFeqlvbSgoF36lQ9_5Pzi3W6_W6C7jOCEzdohaYnipNtd3ebwYK1kMIAH1dYI2N0qKU_fX/s1600/SAM_0091.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi4EmFQFb9b3Y5r7pZjonucd8k9r499GLFapWCMLsKf2pzctn-I98vU5zNFsvFkC0eaZEimb8HFeqlvbSgoF36lQ9_5Pzi3W6_W6C7jOCEzdohaYnipNtd3ebwYK1kMIAH1dYI2N0qKU_fX/s320/SAM_0091.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5697021745289639010" border="0" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjUv3xzSq0iyauDbJowjs2XhHLQhJ4gCtbQoB-KU_9I0_6TOoxHIQdjP5XT-Tk6gJhfaZ8nzHUrqDqq8vwpJ1nQDumhfE5yoDmPevumhfs-O6IZScPSqVLQIsh6SHPlcxcJubN9PF6N7EHP/s1600/SAM_0086.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjUv3xzSq0iyauDbJowjs2XhHLQhJ4gCtbQoB-KU_9I0_6TOoxHIQdjP5XT-Tk6gJhfaZ8nzHUrqDqq8vwpJ1nQDumhfE5yoDmPevumhfs-O6IZScPSqVLQIsh6SHPlcxcJubN9PF6N7EHP/s320/SAM_0086.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5697021738734127826" border="0" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJwX-dhzOJwctMvcNspahGVk_BdlTufz_6FYFouasrY53lGS7ZvNse7NmNtgc39hJV2Sp4nFLCCMaYUvZZG0AgeY_-0ybfRR83ccPKPTxRqX_BM0YIAC3VSsBnzbws4PihNXeQyCzllMMq/s1600/SAM_0081.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJwX-dhzOJwctMvcNspahGVk_BdlTufz_6FYFouasrY53lGS7ZvNse7NmNtgc39hJV2Sp4nFLCCMaYUvZZG0AgeY_-0ybfRR83ccPKPTxRqX_BM0YIAC3VSsBnzbws4PihNXeQyCzllMMq/s320/SAM_0081.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5697021724175588994" border="0" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhwU0KCQ5eG436KSr9IC0HcKLAUZDWFm3M5hT6oqHWN7lxNnv_nR8yKqnPy1sHgBPE_OAMi3OFo_BxBClNlyoazoMAnfTUd6zroamiZaHRXRFyhCCYaPqCWPOe5lMJmWzLGuT7gdJQGjZhM/s1600/SAM_0058.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhwU0KCQ5eG436KSr9IC0HcKLAUZDWFm3M5hT6oqHWN7lxNnv_nR8yKqnPy1sHgBPE_OAMi3OFo_BxBClNlyoazoMAnfTUd6zroamiZaHRXRFyhCCYaPqCWPOe5lMJmWzLGuT7gdJQGjZhM/s320/SAM_0058.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5697021716171646226" border="0" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg6lZKcFnG9u2uIcm1QjjCkY8D_rw87Z2qlus0eqSCiZM2iruFfUyD3uu0BgJgM2HZorlxsG8_C5G0ITR4G968kct6-l73uS2lid4p3B0L6odaH6d3F_n-rXXs2F4IwfzPGE-3Xp5sAwiI1/s1600/SAM_0079.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg6lZKcFnG9u2uIcm1QjjCkY8D_rw87Z2qlus0eqSCiZM2iruFfUyD3uu0BgJgM2HZorlxsG8_C5G0ITR4G968kct6-l73uS2lid4p3B0L6odaH6d3F_n-rXXs2F4IwfzPGE-3Xp5sAwiI1/s320/SAM_0079.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5697021713933006194" border="0" /></a>Sean Whttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01361661130505111173noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1287358833320810075.post-62087898280118748862011-12-19T14:15:00.001-07:002012-01-13T01:00:50.141-07:00Feliz Navidad, Christmas is coming!<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEimHI_SquT0nhWuaUpBBFg5LOgcc0kY6Pf7Ex8pYUI8zDkFALhTpVqke8k1Eb2GuGDurKGZOEwyh1XAZi0gBPV4A_MeO0E8UVgE7EO2sNPcS7xKeAwW81N9EZHjOjdNU6UuswugbfTy9B5u/s1600/DSCN1476.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEimHI_SquT0nhWuaUpBBFg5LOgcc0kY6Pf7Ex8pYUI8zDkFALhTpVqke8k1Eb2GuGDurKGZOEwyh1XAZi0gBPV4A_MeO0E8UVgE7EO2sNPcS7xKeAwW81N9EZHjOjdNU6UuswugbfTy9B5u/s320/DSCN1476.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5697023037259146770" border="0" /></a><br /><div>Hey everyone!<br /><br /></div> <div> </div> <div>I hope everyone is having a great week before Christmas! This week was a good week down here in Ecuador!<br /></div> <div><br />On Tuesday I got to go on an interchange with my zone leader Elder Snow, he is an awesome guy! we had a pretty successful day. Today I went to Guayaquil, I had an interview with Presidente Monolti that was cool i love my president so much.</div> <div> </div> <div><br />The other day me and my comp went tracting and we passed the local fire station and saw them playing ping pong...so we challenged them to a couple games and talked to them for a bit haha it was pretty fun.</div> <div><br />The best thing that happened this week was the finding of the Castillo family. They are an inactive family that we just randomly found and they have a daughter who is 9 named Julisa who is not baptized yet. anyways, we got them all to go to Church on Sunday. Usually we have to go wake people up for church, but when we went to their house they were already up and ready and outside, they were the first one to church!! Awesome family, hopefully we can get them to enter the temple and be sealed together forever.</div> <div> </div> <div><br />As for Christmas this weekend we will go to church for sacrament meeting and them go home and stay in our house all day alone. but it is okay we need the extra rest. We will find something to do for fun.<br /></div> <div><br />We have a baptism this Friday for Josue Albuquerque, please keep him in your prayers!<br /><br />I wish you all a merry Christmas and will miss you all!<br />but I am serving the lord and very happy!</div> <p>Love,</p><p> Elder Jase Warner</p><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh-tduEIe-xj7NwLHKsxvL1dZfAZNdfAdS845PER7JaUV_2o4P6qw6i4id9l_e0KGrWMfhz0iFVxOQhIOlt-U-7LQFzfPpFFZO8V0zT0_daZ451edi1ZxEWCB8temB9UZN8oL7HFlgKSyIb/s1600/DSCN1475.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh-tduEIe-xj7NwLHKsxvL1dZfAZNdfAdS845PER7JaUV_2o4P6qw6i4id9l_e0KGrWMfhz0iFVxOQhIOlt-U-7LQFzfPpFFZO8V0zT0_daZ451edi1ZxEWCB8temB9UZN8oL7HFlgKSyIb/s320/DSCN1475.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5697023033693574594" border="0" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJdhU5zzeWzOAAUpU2JaDGkuMnkDfzXRW7LuPscqUEePeydEtIF09nv5R8YtoHMJ8cSY9qWJGGsQ5FWYg8u6hY3IrN7DodlYmoM0OlCsbc098HsRdKMl7YyBoujMNvcNsP9gyHm-c077_7/s1600/DSCN1494.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJdhU5zzeWzOAAUpU2JaDGkuMnkDfzXRW7LuPscqUEePeydEtIF09nv5R8YtoHMJ8cSY9qWJGGsQ5FWYg8u6hY3IrN7DodlYmoM0OlCsbc098HsRdKMl7YyBoujMNvcNsP9gyHm-c077_7/s320/DSCN1494.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5697023043289076338" border="0" /></a>Sean Whttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01361661130505111173noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1287358833320810075.post-1494002277086956072011-12-13T22:15:00.002-07:002011-12-13T22:17:40.329-07:00Christmas is almost here!!Hey everyone!<br /><br />Christmas is almost here! There are a couple people here in Santa Rosa that have Christmas trees. I am loving it here so much! This last week we worked super hard! Monday during pday we found a gym to go to for a little bit. My comp has to stay in real good shape for football. Tuesday we went and knocked some doors, we went back to the monkey we found and ended up talking to the guy that owns it, he illegally smuggled it from the jungle. But we taught him and his son. They are cool, they have some believe that god isn't religion, and that everyone of our bodies is its own church of Christ. It doesn't matter what church you go to....god is love. A lot of people here have that belief it seems like. Just the effects of the apostasy.<br /><br />So Friday we worked sooo hard and didn't really get very many lessons, we got like 2 lessons and walked non stop all day. But Saturday we felt prompted to go to a new area that we´ve never been to and we ended up finding a family who after talking to for like 15 minutes we found out they were inactive members. They have a daughter who is 9 who we set a baptism date for the 8th of January. And we are going to prepare their family to enter the temple and be sealed together for eternity.<br /><br />We also have a baptism date for the 23rd of December with a kid named Josue . He is awesome he went to church and really liked it yesterday. When the time came to add up our numbers this week we realized that we taught 26 lessons. That's my new record. So hopefully we see some fruits of our hard work.<br /><br />I love the Christmas season! What better way to spend it than by serving others and sharing the gospel of our savior Jesus Christ. Christ is the light of the world. This is my first Christmas that I have truly experienced what it truly means to give all that you have to the lord and receive nothing in return but seeing the love and peace that comes from obedience to christ´s gospel. You can receive all the presents in the world but he who serves and brings others unto Christ receives the most joy and most valuable gift of all.<br /><br />I challenge all to be bold in this Christmas season. To remember all that Christ has done for you and give that knowledge to others. Through small and simple actions god works miracles. Invite friends to church, give them a book of Mormon, share your testimony, invite them to talk with the missionaries and be baptized. This is the kingdom of god on the earth. We are his hands and he needs us. He who is not born of water and the spirit can not enter into the kingdom of god. It is our privilege to let the world know.<br /><br />I pray for you all, As we remember our saviors birth, may we remember what he did for us and that he LIVES he is the Christ.<br /><br />Love elder Jase WarnerSean Whttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01361661130505111173noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1287358833320810075.post-23808917770064074042011-12-05T21:23:00.001-07:002011-12-05T21:29:12.703-07:00MonkeyHey everyone!! <div><br /></div><div>Todo bien aqui en Ecuador</div><div><br /></div><div>Every thing is going great here. We just had the baptism of "Maria Julexi Vargas Sanchez" It was a good baptism we had a lot of members from the ward there to support her. The spirit was very strong during the service and she bore her testimony at the end , it was awesome. She has a very strong testimony of the book of Mormon.</div> <div><br /></div><div>The other day when we were out working we found a monkey! It was tied up to a tree like a pet. But it was so rad! It was swinging around an everything cool like that. We took a ton of pictures of it. </div> <div><br /></div><div>This week was kinda hard for us. All of the baptism dates we have are falling through, because people didn't go to church. Its hard to watch people make bad choices after you grow to really care for them. I cant even imagine the way heavenly father feels about all of the children he has. He really does care and love all of us so much. </div> <div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div>Christmas is coming! i cant believe it! It is kinda making me a little bit sad to be honest going into peoples houses and seeing Christmas trees. The good thing is though that on Christmas day we will get a chance to rest a little bit. We cant leave the house except to go to just Sacrament meeting. but last last night we had the chance to watch the Christmas devotional. It was very good but in Spanish.But i loved the music so much and the cool new videos that you can go watch on the internet for free. The part they showed about Jesus birth was awesome! Its always nice to listen to the prophet speak and the apostles. They really do receive so much revelation from god for all of us here on earth. If you didn't watch the Christmas devotional, go and watch it on <a href="http://lds.org/" target="_blank">lds.org</a>.</div> <div><br /></div><div>I miss you all so much. But I love it here and I love serving the lord. Serving other people really does bring you so much joy.</div><div>Christmas is an awesome opportunity to go and serve people! </div> <div><br /></div><div>I love you all</div><div><br /></div><div>Elder Jase Warner</div> <span><span style="color:#666666;"><br /></span></span>Sean Whttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01361661130505111173noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1287358833320810075.post-62363780661525595272011-11-28T21:11:00.000-07:002011-12-05T21:16:09.659-07:00Happy ThanksgivingHey everyone!<br /><br />Hows it going in the USA? Man I miss that country. Ecuador is way cool though I am loving it here! Love my companion Elder Badger ( from Provo Utah) future pro football player. Love the people, the mission is awesome! This next week we should have 2 baptisms if we get this girl married this week, but the other baptism is for sure happening this week her name is Julexi. Shes black. My first blacktism. She was supposed to be baptized this past week but she had some issues with coffee so this week is the week. The other day she couldn't go to church because she was in the hospital the night before.......she fell out of a mango tree. I felt bad, she got a concussion and at first we thought she was (chuchaqui) hung over. But just falling out of trees. She is all better now, so it should be a great day next Saturday. Spanish is still a struggle but learning everyday! And I love the gospel! Go spread the gospel! Don't be selfish! The gospel needs to be heard by all of Gods children!<br /><br />I love you all hope all is well.<div><br /></div><div>God speed</div><div><br /></div><div>Elder Warner</div>Sean Whttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01361661130505111173noreply@blogger.com0
